The Bromsgrove/Redditch ‘top of the table’ clash between Droitwich Tigers and Colebridge Tomahawks last night was a bit of a damp squib from the visitors’ point of view, with Tigers winning 7-3.
As usual, Awais was in magnificent form, dropping just 2 games in his 3 wins, but Rod suffered a back strain in his marathon 5 game opener against Mark Fiddian and thereafter was unable to cope with the speed of Hawley Ellicott nor the wiles of Nick Whitham.
Neil, called in late due to Kate Hughes’ illness, did his best but had to settle for taking Nick to a final game and stealing one from Hawley.
